What Kids (and Adults) Say About STEPdc

I loved the part when we read about Ruby Bridges. We did a worksheet about her, it was hard. I love what we did today.
Ellen, 3rd grade student

This is my first and last year here in STEPTutoring. Tutoring has been a lot of fun. I am sorry I didn’t start early in the third grade. What I like is the food, the tutors and the work. I am very sad this is my last year at STEPTutoring.
Jessica, 5th grade student

Thanks again for having such a well-behaved group of little ones...they were what makes what I do worth it!
Anna from Lenscrafters

Today when I first came to the Book Club meeting I was very shy about introducing myself. Now I feel like I know everyone. The book that I picked out, I liked a lot. My goal is to read to page 100.
Angelica, 7th grade student

[STEP] is right on target. In fact, we all (teachers, administrators, etc) have come to realize that what our children need most is to learn how to THINK – that is, analyze, synthesize, deduce, induce, predict, etc. If they get lots of practice in using higher level thinking skills, the other things they need to do will be a breeze.
Wendy Edwards, Asst. Principal

STEP has great programs where my kids can learn to interact with others, express their feelings and experience new things.
